Heavy duty shelves:
Heavy-duty racks are racks that use typical metal pallets. Generally, a group of heavy-duty racks can have 2-3 metal pallets placed side by side for storage requirements. Therefore, heavy-duty racks are often referred to as pallet racks. When using metal pallets on heavy-duty racks, some issues need to be noted.
First, we must determine the position between the metal pallets and leave appropriate space to facilitate the operation of the forklift; second, the metal pallets should be placed neatly on the shelf beams, and the relationship between the goods and the metal pallets should be handled To avoid safety accidents. The ground expansion screw must be installed on the bottom of the pallet rack to ensure the stability of the heavy duty shelf.
Shuttle shelves:
As an automated storage shelf system, the pallets placed on it are stored in depth by a shuttle. Plastic pallets are generally the main type of use, and they are similar to drive-in shelves in terms of cargo space. The basic principle of the shuttle rack is that the rack and the mobile shuttle form a simple unit that can be moved back and forth in the warehouse.
The internal running shuttle is controlled by the front console, and the forklift lifts the shuttle and places it on the center console of the designated shelf. After that, the forklift placed the pallet on the shuttle, and then the shuttle started the storage operation. When the forklift is about to store the next pallet, the shuttle automatically transports the pallet to the designated storage location on the shelf.
Drive-in shelves:
For the use of pallets, drive-in shelves can be described as masters of pallets. Since the drive-in rack is a continuous whole rack without channel separation, the use of its pallets is also continuous, which also reduces obstacles and maximizes the ability to store goods. In use, the trays can be arranged in one direction and two directions.
The total depth of one-way (wall-facing area) shelves should be controlled within 6 pallets, and the total depth of two-way (middle area can be picked up from both sides) shelf area should be controlled within 12 pallets to improve the efficiency of forklift access And reliability. As for the choice of metal pallet or plastic pallet, you can decide to choose after comprehensive consideration.
