How to choose between shuttle racks and through racks?

We all know that shuttle racks and through racks are dense rack types with high-density storage. In many scenarios, customers often use the two as a comparison. This shows that there must be some connections or similarities between the two shelves.
The biggest difference between the layout of the shuttle rack and other ordinary racks is that the space that needs to be reserved for forklifts and other equipment is reduced, so the entire shuttle rack can be more densely laid out. That is to say, the space utilization rate of the shuttle rack is very high, which further increases the storage capacity of the entire warehouse. Moreover, the shuttle rack is a semi-automatic rack, which is also more efficient than ordinary racks.
The drive-through rack is a rack that uses a special forklift. The drive-through rack is also called a drive-in rack. Its characteristic is that the forklift can drive into the interior of the rack to access the goods, so it will be more efficient in space utilization. The shuttle racks are lower. However, the cost of drive-in racks is much lower than that of shuttle racks, which is more suitable for some enterprises with low cost budgets.
Since the arrangement of shuttle racks and through racks are both dense rack layouts, the volume ratio of warehouses using these two types of racks can be doubled or tripled, so the high volume ratio of warehouses with shuttle racks and through racks is all others. Storage shelves cannot be achieved. Whether it is a shuttle rack or a through rack, forklifts will be used to access the goods. The shuttle racks only need to use a forklift to put the goods at one end of the shuttle racks, and then hand over the process to the shuttle trolley, which can reduce or avoid forklifts. A little harm to the shelf, and the through-type shelf requires the forklift to enter the interior of the shelf for loading and picking operations. Since the forklift walks in the narrow shelf passage, the collision between the poor car and the shelf cannot be avoided. Forklift rails are usually installed in the forklift aisle when passing through the racks to reduce the requirements for forklift operators. Compared with the storage capacity of the same warehouse, the shuttle racks are obviously more efficient than heavy-duty racks, press-in racks, and gravity racks. High storage advantage. Although the through-shelf is also an intensive inventory method, it is slightly short of safety and stability compared with the shuttle-type shelf.
