It is suitable for storing the same type of goods with small variety and large displacement. Goods can be stored and taken out from the same side (first in, last out). It can also be stored in one side and taken out from the other side (first in, first out). It is mostly used in dairy, beverage and other food industries. It is also more common in cold storage.
