This is the traditional form of store layout. Supermarkets generally have a grid layout. The grid layout is that the merchandise display shelves and the customer channels are arranged in a square shape, and the widths of the main channels and the sub-channels are consistent, and all the shelves are arranged in parallel or at right angles.
2. Island layout
The island-style layout is arranged in the form of separate islands in the middle of the business premises, and shelves are displayed in the middle of the island. This form is generally used in department stores or specialty stores, mainly for displaying small-sized items, and sometimes as a complement to the grid layout. At present, domestic department stores are constantly reforming their business practices, and island-style layouts have been transformed into professional layouts and are widely used.
3. Free flow layout
The free-flowing layout is based on the convenience of the customer, and it tries to maximize the merchandise in front of the customer.
